High climbing woody vine with pilose stems. Trifoliolate leaves, terminal leaflet to 200mm x 110mm, lateral leaflets to 200mm x 110mm. Axillary or terminal inflorescence to 450mm with floral bracts to 9mm x 2mm & bracteoles to 3mm x 2mm & bractlets to 3mm x 1.5mm. Pale purple-blue & white flowers to 22mm, calyx tube 8mm, upper lobe to 9mm x 9mm, falcate lateral lobes 7mm x 4mm & lower lobe 10mm x 5mm, standard 18mm x 9mm with 4mm claw, wings to 15mm x 10mm with 7mm claw, keel petals to 15mm with 7mm claw. Fruits with irritating hairs, to 100mm x 25mm x 13mm.
