Small scandent and decumbent shrub with red-brown glabrous branchlets, leaves coriaceous to 190mm x 75mm. Glabrous axillary fascicles of 35mm orange-red flowers with basal bracteoles to 2.5mm, calyx tube to 5mm 5-lobed, lobes to 2mm. Corolla 20mm x 5mm red or pink with whitish tips and lobes to 2.5mm. Fruit purple to 8mm dia. crowned by erect calyx lobes to 4mm
