Sometimes scandent or spreading glabrous shrub with red brown branchlets, leaves coriaceous to 200mm x 55mm. Axillary fascicleswith basal bracteoles, calyx green tube to 4mm, 5-lobed. Corolla can be crimson or other colours through to white, tube to 22mm x 4mm with lobes to 2.5mm, fruit blue/black 12mm x 10mm
