Large scandent shrub with glabrous branchlets, coriaceous leaves glbrous above yellowish-pubescent beneath to 150mm x 80mm. Axillary racemes with bracteoles, of 4-7 flowers, calyx tube 5 x 6mm, yellowish hairy corolla deep pink 45mm x 10mm with whitish triangular lobes or suffused with red to 5mm
