Scandent herbaceous perennial glabrous evergreen or glabrous lianescent shrub or small tree with coriaceus leaves 80mm x 20mm, terminal, occasionally axillary panicles or cymes 30mm long of 15mm purplish-green, yellow or white flowers with 6mm long tube, 4 petals 2mm long, 4mm lobes, lobes and throat of corolla hairy inside, 4 sepals 1mm long, calyx tube 1mm long, green fruit capsule 5mm x 5mm
