Sometimes scandent slender tree to 7.5m. Coriaceous glabrous leaves to 155mm x 58mm. Terminal panicles to 400mm long with bracts to 2.5mm x 2mm. Glabrous male flowers, female flower tomentulose. Brown or dull purple fruit to 20mm x 32mm with 4 lobes.
