Fruiting Times
Monoecious scandent shrub, tree or liana with glabrescent lenticellate branchlets. Leaves to 170mm x 90mm, pilose on midrib and nerves above, velutinous beneath. Axillary cymes of 5mm white flowers, lilac at tip, calyx villous outside, 5 sepals to 2.5mm long, glabrous bifid petals to 5mm long, fruit a densely ferruginous pubescent drupe to 25mm x 20mm, glabrescent stems with lenticels, red tomentum when young, glabrous leaves or, densely villous beneath
