Monoecious climbing, creeping or erect shrub with lenticellate pilose branchlets. Pilose leaves to 220mm x 150mm. Axillary pilose inflorescence to 10mm long with flowers to 4mm, glabrous petals 3.5mm x 1mm. 3-lobed shaggy yellow axillary fruit to 40mm x 25mm
