Liana with hairy young parts. Lenticellate glabrous branches. Leaves to 180mm x 70mm pilose on midrib above, on margin and nerves and veins beneath, upper surface becoming glabrous.Axillary cymes, pubescent sepals 2.5mm long, glabrous fleshy petals 2mm long. Glabrescent capsule 20mm long.
