Lianescent shrub or liana with strigose to glabrous branchlets. Papery leaves to 120mm x45mm strigose on margins, mid-rib & veinsbeneath. Up to 9-flowered inflorescence with bracts & bracteoles to 1mm long, puberulous sepals to 1.5mm x 0.8mm, bi-lobed glabrous petals to 2mm x 0.3mm. Yellow beaked glabrous fruit to 60mm x 25mm.
