Tall slender woody liana or lianescent shrub, brown tomentose branchlets. Leaves to 460mm x 210mm, glabrous above, denselt hairy beneath. Many-flowered inflorescence with bracts & bracteoles to 3mm long, brown flowers, sepals to 3.5mm x 1.5mm, hairy outside , glabrous or puberulous inside, bi-lobed mostly glabrous petals to 4mm long, lobes to 1.5mm long. Yellowish velvety fruit to 20mm diameter x 30mm, slightly 3-lobed to 3-angled.
