Climber to 30m, glabrous striate young twigs with pink lenticels. Sub-coriaceous nearly glabrous leaves to 130mm x 60mm. Fragrant axillary or terminal single or paired flowers to 35mm long with basal bracteole, puberulous sepals to 7mm long, greenish-yellow petals sometimes hairy to 32mm long. Glabrous fruit 35mm long
