Tall woody glabrescent liana with young stems hairy becoming glabrescent. Glabrescent leaves to 200mm x 100mm. Axillary and terminal male or female panicles to 200mm long with bracts to 1mm long and shorter bracteoles. Greenish unisexual flowers, tepals to 2mm long, male tepals white to 2mm long. female ones shorter. 5 petals. Fruit a 4-lobed magenta red berry to 4mm diameter.
