Fruiting Times
Sometimes climbing shrub or evergreen nearly glabrous vine to 6m with young stems pubescent becoming glabrescent. Mucronate glabrescent leaves to 160mm x 80mm. Axillary or terminal racemes to 400mm long with bracts to 1.5mm and bracteoles to 1mm. 4mm greenish-white bisexual malodorous flowers maturing reddish on 250mm spikes, tepals to 2.5mm long tinged red with white margins. 7mm wide red berries.
Medicinal uses. Young sprouts edible
