Glabrous twining woody vine with smooth or exfoliating branches, young stems zigzag aging straight. Leaves toothed at apex, or pilose on nerves beneath to 125mm x 78mm. 6mm creamy white to yellow fragrant flowers with orange sepals in many-flowered puberulent panicles, 3 outer sepals to 3.5mm long, 2 inner sepals to 8mm x 7mm, 5 petals. Yellow-orange fruits.
