Liana to 5m, tomentose stems with paired axillary spines. Villous leaves to 70mm x 40mm. Panicles or racemes with up to 28 flowers, yellow corolla to 12mm long with segments 6mm long. Silky white achenes to 5mm long with whitish bristles to 14mm long
