Trifoliate or simple leaves puberulent on veins, pilose above becoming glabrate, velutinous-pilose beneath, leaflets to 100mm x 50mm. Axillary inflorescences, 3-lobed denticulate green bracts to 25mm long, yellow flowers, 10-12 sepals to 15mm long. Sparsely setose or pubescent fruit capsule 9mm across green ripening brown
