Liana or woody glabrous climber with short branches that entangle like tendrils or glabrous shrub. 1-7 foliolate imparipinnate leaves 200mm x 100mm, glabrous above puberulent beneath, coriaceous leaflets 150mm long. Axillary pilose panicles or racemes to 30mm long, fragrant white, purple or pink flowers, to 8mm long, calyx 3mm, standard 10mm long, wings & keel same. Pale reddish-brown flat glabrous fruit 50mm x 40mm.
