Scandent or erect or creeping pubescent tree or shrub with leaves pubescent or glabrate above tomentose beneath to 150mm x 80mm. Terminal cymes of 14-22 florets, 8mm long purple or white flowers 4mm high, phyllaries to 4.5mm long. Pubescent ribbed achenes to 1.5mm long, white pappus bristles to 6mm long
