Large perennial liana or glabrous twining shrub to 8m. Leaves puberulous beneath to 120mm x 80mm. Extra-axillary few-flowered umbels of 35mm diameter white to yellowish flowers, purple-crimson inside, 5-lobed calyx with sepals to 3mm, corolla to 35mm with lobes to 16mm. Glabrous follicles to 140mm long x 40mm
