Simple or bifid tendril climber with glabrous or puberulent stems. Unlobed leaves to 55mm x 55mm, glabrous above with somewhat puberulous veins, & completely puberulous beneath. Male racemes or panicles to 50mm long, calyx tube 1mm wide, whitieh corolla to 3mm wide, 5 petals to 1mm x 1mm, apetalous female flowers. Fruit to 7mm x 2mm with 5mm beak & a few bristles.
