Bifid tendril vine with puberulent stems. Deeply 3-lobed triangular leaves to 110mm x 110mm, central lobe to 9mm x 25mm, lateral lobes to 6mm x 25mm with denticulate margins glabrous both surfaces with puberulent veins above. Male few-flowered racemes to 100mm long, calyx tube 0.75mm across, greenish-yellow corolla to 3.5mm across with 5 petals to 1.25mm x 1mm, apetalous female flowers. Beaked fruit to 15mm x 7mm, bristly all over.
