Large annual herbaceous hairy many-branched tendril vine, climbing or trailing to 4m+. Shallowly 5-lobed hispid leaves to 300mm diameter with toothed margins. 120mm long yellow flowers. with 5 toothed corolla. Pale yellow, red or green fleshy fruit variable in size to 600mm long & 300mm diameter
