Liana or herb climbing or trailing to 1m with bristly hairy stems. Irritant bristles on leaves & stems. Leaves 5-7 palmately lobed to 91mm x 108mm.Male yellow flowers 5mm long with pale green tube, petals 10mm x 8mm. Female flowers with petals 12mm x 7.5mm. Pale green almost smooth fruit with pale yellow longitudinal stripes becoming uniform dull yellow to 80mm x 52mm.
