Terminal cymes of few or several 75mm fragrant red-purple flower, Calyx lobes to 9mm x 6mm, corolla to 25mm long, tube darker inside, lobes to 30mm long. Woody follicles turning brown at 180ยบ to 130mm x 30mm, winged or keeled
