Fruiting Times
Glabrous slender twining liana or climbing shrub with leaves 135mm x 85mm glabrous both surfaces. Axillary glabrous panicles 75mm long with bracts 2mm long, flowers white outside, reddish-black to chocolate inside, sepals 3mm x 3mm, glabrous corolla dark red inside with lobes 10mm x 6mm. Horizontal follicles to 425mm long.
Leaves & sap have medicinal uses, used for arrow poison
