Climber with glabrous branches. Pubescent leaves to 50mm x 32mm. Monoecious flowers in terminal racemes, lower third female, upper two thirds male, with rusty-pubescent bracts to 3.5mm long. Male flowers with 5 rusty-pubescent sepals & 5 petals. Female flowers have 5 rusty-pubescent sepals 3mm x 1mm & petals represented by tufts of hairs.
