Slender sometimes climbing shrub, liana or tree with leaves to 110mm x 50mm, glabrate above downy beneath or pubescent on nerves beneath. Axillary inflorescences of 2-6 flowers, fragrant white flowers, pubescent calyx to 4mm long with 5 teeth, corolla with 5 lobes to 8mm long, red berry to 8mm long.
