Twining glaucescent herb to 6m or creeper with quadrangular purplish stems. Leaves with crenulate margins, glabrous leaves to 70mm x 40mm. Axillary cymes or solitary blue to purple flowers, calyx tube to 15mm, lobes to 10mm x 6mmg, corolla to 60mm long, lobes 8mm long, 30mm long fruit capsule
