Liana with puberulent young branches. Trifoliate leaves with leaflets to 100mm x 70mm, pilose above & villous beneath. Axillary racemes to 450mm long. Blue or violet flowers to 30mm long with a pubescent calyx, whitish standard 20mm long. Pubescent green fruit maturing brown to 150mm x 18mm.
