Herbaceous twining liana, scented leaves & stems, tomentose stems. Leaves 100mm x 60mm villous both surfaces, axillary inflorescence to 200mm long with bracts 15mm x 10mm, yellow fragrant flowers, tomentose sepals exterior ones 2mm x 1.5mm , corolla 8mm across with tomentose lobes. Pubescent capsule enclosed in persistent calyx.
