Clambering or erect slender shrub or tree with strigillose branchlets & leaves. Serrated leaves to 70mm x 20mm. Axillary & terminal or leaf-opposed racemes, spikes, cymes or umbels to 30mm across of inconspicuous white flowers, reddish calyx to 3mm long. fleshy white corolla to 6mm long. Bright red drupe to 4mm long with persistent calyx maturing red.
