Twining or trailing white-tomentose-stemmed perennial vine with striate stems. Mucronate tomentose dentate leaves to 50mm x 20mm, silky tomentum on both surfaces, a little toothed at base. 1-2 flowered axillary inflorescence with bracts, 20mm pink to white flowers, sepals to 8mm long, white corolla, exterior of flower hairy. Glabrous purple fruit.
