Decumbent or climbing herbaceous pilose or glabrous perennial twiner with axillary solitary or 2-flowered cymes with bracts of 35mm white to pink or purple scented flowers veined red, coriaceus sepals 4mm long, pinkish-white corolla 18mm long, brown glabrous capsule to 8mm diameter, creeping underground roots, angular striated downy stems, sagittate pedate leaves 50mm long scabrous on margins, lobes toothed or entire, villous beneath
