Large liana to 30m or erect shrub with glabrescent branches, 1-2 pairs of glabrous coriaceous leaflets to 300mm x 120mm. Tomentose inflorescence to 400mm long, with bracts to 7.5mm long, sepals to 3mm x 1.5mm tomentose outside and pubescent within, glabrous petals to 6mm long, glabrous, flattened wrinkled fruit to 60mm x 30mm with minute beak
