Large looping liana or shrub wth glabrescent branches, imparinpinnate leaves with 2-5 pairs of leaflets to 150mm x 55mm clothed in woolly hairs. Erect terminal tomentose panicles to 350mm long with bracts to 10mm long, yellowish or reddish-brown flowers, coriaceous sepals brown-tomentose outside glabrous within 3.5mm x 1.5mm, petals pubescent to 8mm x 1mm, corolla tube 8mm long x 10mm across. Hairy or glabrescent follicles to 25mm x 15mm with minute beak.
