Fruiting Times
Large scandent yellowish-tomentose evergreen clambering shrub or perennial evergreen woody twining climber to 13m with tetragonal pubescent branches. Leaves to 185mm x 95mm puberulent above, white-tomentose beneath. Axillary & terminal 6-flowered cymes or panicles to 300mm x 210mm with 3 violet or white tomentose bracts to 30mm x 12mm, tiny white or pale violet flowers with orange stamens, lobes to 3mm long, 5-lobed hairy calyx to 7mm long with lobes 2.5mm long & tube 5mm long surrounded by 25mm x 8mm white to lilac woolly bracts. Fruit a drupe.
