Scandent epiphytic & lithophytic subshrub or climbing shrub with quadrangular pubescent to strigose stems becoming glabrescent. Villous serrated leaves to 60mm x 20mm. Scarlet-hairy solitary axillary 85mm red or yellow flowers, with bracts to 4mm long, corolla & calyx pubescent, green calyx to 13mm x 3mm, yellow, orange or red corolla to 85mm long upper lobes erect & basal lobes reflexed. PIlose white berry 10mm diameter.
