Epiphytic liana with pubescent stems. Leaves to 120mm long, glabrous above & pilose beneath, often red-spotted beneath. Solitary axillary flowers with bracts, green or red hirsute fimbriate calyx lobes to 30mm long, scarlet pilose corolla to 40mm x 12mm.
