Scandent or erect evergreen glabrous unarmed shrub, small tree with drooping branches or liana to 6m. Crenate serrulated glabrous leaves 90mm x 55mm. Axillary pubescent thyrses or cymes of fragrant yellow or greenish-white flowers to 1.4mm long, 5 sepals 1mm x 1mm, 5 petals 1mm long. Fruit a glabrous brown 3-valved fleshy 3-furrowed capsule to 9mm diameter.
