Herbaceous slender twining climber with reddish hairs. 3-foliolate leaves, mucronate leaflets to 100mm x 25mm, strigose both surfaces, glaucescent beneath. 1-5-flowered umbels of glabrous blue to purple twin flowers to 22mm long, bractlets at base of calyx, purplish pilose calyx to 15mm long with teeth to 3mm long & a few hairs, purplish corolla 25mm long. Pubescent pods to 40mm+ long
