Glabrous straggling shrub, tree, treelet or twining vine with puberulent lenticellate branchlets, coriaceous glabrous leaves to 200mm x 80mm, leaves of scrambling shoots to 240mm x 100mm, sweet-scented white flowers in terminal or lateral racemes to 360mm long with bracts 1mm long, flower tube to 1.5mm long, lobes to 4.5mm long, black fruit 15mm x 12mm
