Root-climbing hemi-epiphyte, shrub or tree to 7m with aerial roots to 30m long. Lenticellate stems. Leathery leaves to 250mm x 160mm. Terminal cymes with bracts & bracteoles to 15mm long of 1-2 male flowers & 1 female flowers, fragrant white flowers 13mm diameter with yellow centre, with rose-red bracts, 6 white sepals with pink margins, 8 white petals with pink base to 80mm long x 65mm wide, inflorescence to 70mm long. Fleshy whitish-green capsule to 120mm diameter.
