Liana or scandent shrub with glabrate branchlets. Mucronate leaflets to 300mm x 120mm becoming rigid coriaceous, glabrous above & pilose on veins beneath. Cauliflorous brown-pubescent racemes to 200mm long with bracts 5mm long & bractlets to 8mm long. Pilose calyx to 40mm long, pink flowers, banner to 90mm long, silky yellow outside. Reddish tomentulose pods to 300mm x 25mm.
