Tall woody glabrous tendril liana to 91m, glabrous stems with brown lenticels, coriaceous glabrous leaves 200mm x 80mm with wavy margins pink inside. Axillary & terminal puberulous panicles or cymes of 10 to 80 flowers with minute bracts, perfumed white, greyish or yellowish flowers, pubescent calyx 2mm long, sepals to 1.3mm x 1mm, corolla glabrous outside with pink tube 5mm long pubescent within, lobes to 5mm long. Orange-yellow glabrous fruit to 125mm x 120mm
