Scandent shrub to 4m+. Hairy branches. Leaves to 55mm x 25mm, strigulose above & setulose beneath. 1-5 flowered axillary inflorescence with bracts & bracteoles to 1.2mm long. Light violet flowers with bracteoles to 5mm x 1.5mm, calyx tube to 0.2mm with lobes 1mm long, petals to 3.4mm x 1.7mm.
