Axillary cymes or terminal heads with small bracts, scented white flowers, glabrous calyx to 5mm long with shorter lobes, glabrous corolla tube to 40mm long, lobes to 5mm long. Fruit dark green to black to 8mm long, scrambling shrub with spiny stem
