Glabrous woody vine to 12m, evergreen or semi-evergreen. Coriaceous leaves, 9-15 mucronate leaflets to 70mm x 30mm. Axillary or terminal many-flowered cymes or panicles to 250mm long with bracts, fragrant 35mm creamy-white flowers, 4 sepals, glabrous achenes to 7mm long
