Glabrous woody evergreen climbing vine with stems striped purple-red, ternate leaves, coriaceous leaflets to 120mm x 80mm. Axillary & terminal many-flowered cymes with small bracts, 40mm white flowers flushed pink with age, 4 sepals, hairy achenes to 6mm
