Woody climbing shrub or vine with woody based striate stems, twining petioles, foliage imparipinnate, 3-5 leaflets 50mm x 30mm, glabrous both sides rarely with hairs on top. Axillary many-flowered panicles with bracts 15mm long, fragrant 22mm diameter white flowers, 4 glabrescent sepals to 13mm, tomentose on edges, 4 petals 10mm long. Villous achenes to 7mm
